Jeong-chuk (정축) and Dong-chuk(동축)
In Korean archery, there is a concept of Jeong-chuk (정축) and Dong-chuk(동축).
It is the concept that the axis of Jeong-chuk (정축) is an axis that cannot be moved, and Dong-chuk(동축) is an axis that can be moved.
Of course, everything has to move depending on the situation,
Basically, it is.
It means that you stand up all over your body.
When standing upright, it refers to the central axis of front, rear, left, and right.
When you stand on your feet, the center axis of your body.
In other words, it refers to the central axis of the body on the ground, starting from that point, going up through the top of the head and heading to the sky.
This axis tells you not to move.
Dong-chuk(동축) can move,
This is a necessary action to aim the target,
That is, when you aim at the target with your Zoom-son(줌손, handle) and Gakji-son(각지손, thumb ring hand),
It is the axis of left, right, top and bottom(aiming movement).
This has to move, of course.
In other words, take out the movement to aim, straighten your body,
Don’t move your body, move to aim only, and in Manjak(만작, full drawing) ,
It means just let the arrow go and send it simply.
It is also a saying that the central axis of the body should not be shaken by excessive motion when shooting.
